It’s still open? I thought it had turned into a wine bar! I’d been there a few times in it’s Goth Only days to and spoke to a delightfully scary girl who was hanging around a creepy middle aged bloke, he had managed to be let in despite the strict dress code (he was dressed like a bird watcher!), so I was guessing he was going to be bled in an alleyway later that evening. I also met the weirdest bloke I’d ever met, a middle aged (unless he was very young and just drank, smoked and took a lot of drugs) skinny punk-goth, with a collection of crap attached to his belt (including a blind man’s cane and a pair of hand cuffs) and we had a long, deep, meaningful (and shouted) conversation over Alice Cooper being played on the jukebox. Aparently Queen Victoria was a raging lesbian.
The snakebite and black was rather nice!
