After so many goths try so hard to convince everyone that they are respectable, decent people who just happen to wear a lot of black, someone goes and pulls a stunt like this. It’s disrespectful, tasteless, and brings shame upon the worldwide goth community. And teachers over the age of 30 should know better. Shame on you.

This is pitiful. I mean they are pitiful. Athiests really shouldn’t be in church (I agree with Natalie’s comment) and they also shouldn’t have sex in church!
I like how they say that sex in a church is just like sex any where else. OK. My problem with that is, forgetting that it’s a CHURCH of all places, it is still a public place. I wouldn’t go around having sex in public places, period! Whether it’s a church, or the family restrooms at the mall, or whatever. That stuff should be done in their own bed room >_< It seems like they just did it to be shocking and for bragging rights, but all they did was make themselves and goths every where look bad
I am not a catholic but can still appreciate the beauty of a Cathedral for its architectural value as well as its decorative features. I do not see why I should not go into one…

Come on people. Has there absolutely nothing of punk remained in you? Are you all convinced that you are just goths as a uniformed part of the society with many of its roles? Who is trying to convince anyone in anything? Are you then the same as the ones you claim you dislike? A very unique and original and free-minded subculture with moral and norms of its own…look in a mirror you’ll see a paradox… / …a purification ceremony… -;)-;D
Absolutely wrong what they did!!! I’ve been a goth since always (just that I recently noticed), any way, what I’ve learned about the goth comunity is that they are cult and with good tastes, just they unusual and extravagant because they incline more to a criptic and at a simple sight they look sinister and somehow hostile to “normal” society, the reality is that isn’t true. I have taste for the gory stuff, somehow I enjoy that, which doesn’t mean I’m gonna go somewhere to kill some random person and disembowel him just because I like gory things. first: because doing that would be unhuman and nameless, second: if you like gore, then be creative, draw gory things, or figures to place in a horror house or something, why do we have to attempt against human morality if there exist alternatives to express gothic tastes. Tim Burton for instance: some of his films are bloody which doesn’t turn him into a murderer, he just finds a creative way of expression. If this two inteded to have sex they should’ve think twice and go to a hotel ¬_¬
Honestly, I don’t see what the big deal is. I’m sure plenty of non-goths have at least WANTED to have sex in a church. It’s taboo, and thus people will try and do it. It’s probably not a good idea to get caught, though. In my opinion, this is only a blow to goths because atheists probably don’t care.
